All Conduit Abilities in Apex Legends Season 19 (Explained)

Apex Legends Season 19 Ignite - Lead

As many fans already know, you’ll be joining the huge roster of characters Apex Legends Season 19 is Conduit. Her backstory, as we’ve seen in the latest Stories from the Outlands, ties into the Titanfall universe. She wears a bright yellow and blue colored exoskeleton and carries a Titan battery on her back. This titan battery powers most of her equipment, along with the exoskeleton, so let’s understand all of Conduit’s capabilities in Apex Legends.

Conduit Abilities in Apex Legends

For those who don’t know, Conduit is of Filipino descent and can be seen speaking Tagalog from time to time. She is a fan of the Apex Games and can sometimes be seen emulating other legends. Conduit is 27 years old, has a bubbly and cheerful personality and has joined the games to fulfill her responsibilities to her family. That said, let’s dive in and check out the new Support Legend’s kit:

Passive: the speed of the Savior

Short: Conduit gains a speed boost when running towards allies beyond the range of her tactics

A good doctor is someone who can reach you in time to help you manage your life in difficult situations. Conduit’s passive is based on this principle and activates when you look at one of your teammates who is further away from you. When you look at teammates you’ll see a small icon, which fills up and gives you a speed boost to catch up to overzealous teammates hunting for their next prey.

The speed boost, as revealed to us, is made possible by the enhanced legs that are part of her cool blue and yellow exoskeleton. So yeah, Conduit is not only a medic, but also something of an exercise legend. We can’t wait to see what some exercise professionals can achieve with her passive.

Tactical: radiant transfer

leadership tactical - season 19

Short: Destroy your ally with energy and restore temporary shields for him if he is in danger

Now that you’ve caught up with the bloodthirsty Octane or Revenant in your team, it’s time to support them in battle. This is where Conduit’s tactics come into play. Unlike Lifeline, which heals health, Conduit is the shield healer in Apex Legends.

Powered by the Titan battery on her back, she can send a wave of energy to her teammates, replenishing missing shield bars. She also gets the same boost if one of her shield bars is not filled. But there’s something very strange about Conduit’s tactics. It doesn’t generate permanent shields like Wattson, but a temporary one.

When activated, you will see your shield bar fill with temporary shields AFTER TIME (highlighted in green). Yes, you don’t get full shields right away, but they do have one few seconds to generate. They then remain available for about 12 seconds, after which they become exhausted over time. These work like normal shields, but regeneration is temporarily interrupted when you take damage.

Conduit’s tactics can kick in if you’re in the middle of a fight and lose some health. Again, like her passive, you must look to your teammate to grant this shield buff.

Ultimate: Energy Barricade

conduit Ultimate - season 19

Short: Deploys a series of shield jammers that damage and slow enemies

Finally, let’s talk about her ultimate abilities. Using her exoskeleton, Conduit shoots out seven shield jammers that look like glowing Titan batteries. The jammers are all deployed in a straight line and cover a large area; as many when deployed outdoors. These serve as Conduit’s attack strategy against enemies and take a few seconds to deploy.

Because it is an offensive ability, the jammers damage (10 per second) and slow down enemies when they try to cross the barricade. You can also use the ultimate version of Conduit indoors, but it comes with dynamic functionality. I will update this post to explain the same once the second embargo is lifted.

Furthermore, a question that many players might have is: Can I destroy the shield jammers like Horizon’s black hole or Rampart’s walls? The answer is yes. Each jammer has 250 health, and you can shoot it to clear the area. It will be interesting to see how they are used on the new one Storm Point Map Updatewhich arrives on October 31st.

While Conduit’s defensive and offensive equipment seems impressive, it will be interesting to see how her abilities fit into the current legend meta in Apex Legends. Will she be used by some teams to close out rotations in ALGS? Or maybe fill the last circle with shield jammers that slowly drain the enemy’s health? We can’t wait to see how players use Conduit’s abilities in the game.
