So let me take you into this divine flashback and introduce you to every piece of information you should know.

The God Valley Island was located in the West Blue and notably, it was not affiliated with the World Government. This island hosted a legendary battle involving the Marines, Roger Pirates and Rocks Pirates.

Many people seemed to wonder when this incident even happened. We received a response when it was confirmed that the event would take place 38 years earlier the current timeline, as revealed in Chapter 1095.

The former Fleet Admiral, Sengoku, was the first person to talk about this incident in Chapter 957 (or Episode 958). He provided the general context of what happened there, making it one of the shocking events in history. So Sengoku explained the flashback of how a legendary battle took place between the Rocks Pirates and the Marines.

What’s more interesting are the Roger Pirates connected to Monkey D. Garp and the rest of the Marines to take down Rocks D. Xebec and his crew. Each kill earns certain points and the one with the highest kills was declared the winner. The winner would be rewarded with some of the powerful devil fruits as prizes. As a result, Celestial Dragons, one of the five eldersSt. Jaygarcia Saturn, Figarland Garling (possibly other members of Holy Knights), and the Marines in one piece were present there. After the defeat of Rocks Pirates, captain Rocks D. Xebec has passed away shortly after the incident.
