Spotify allows you to find and follow Facebook friends once you’ve linked your accounts. When you follow friends on Spotify, you’ll see a live feed of what they’re listening to on the right-hand side of the Spotify desktop user interface, as long as they haven’t already been in a private session. To find your Facebook friends on the Spotify desktop app:
- Open the Spotify desktop app. This does not work on the Spotify web player.
- click add friends, a button found in the Activity of friends Bar on the right side of the user interface.
- If you’ve connected Facebook to Spotify, you’ll see a list of friends who are also using Spotify. click on Add friend button next to everyone to follow this facebook friend.

Yes, but you need to know your Spotify username. If you know your friend’s Spotify username, you can enter: Spotify: Users:your username in the search field on the desktop or mobile app. This will show their user profile and you can follow them that way.
