Setting Spotify as an alarm works differently for Android and iPhone devices. With Android phones, the function is in the Clock App that comes with the operating system. On the other hand, iOS users need to find a solution.

Set Spotify as an alarm clock (Android)

• Go to alarm Section. You can find this in the bottom bar on the far left.

• Choose Alarm tone. This button looks like a bubble with two trembling lines around it.

• On the Alarm Tone page, select: Spotify. There is also a search function that can be called up using the magnifying glass button. Use this feature to find the number you want to set as alarm and select that number. In this case we have chosen “Spiral” from Rezz.

• Go back to the alarm page again. You should now see your specified Spotify song as an alarm clock.

There is currently no built-in way to set Spotify music as an alarm on iOS devices. the free one Clock App with Apple’s iPhones and iPads is not integrated in Spotify. In order to set a Spotify number as your alarm clock on an iOS device, you need to download a custom alarm clock app, e.g. Morning ™ alarm clock for Spotify.

While it is possible to use a Spotify audio download tool to download songs as MP3 and set them as custom alarm tones, Spotify does not allow downloading songs as MP3s. Music on Spotify is meant to be played through Spotify even if it is downloaded to your device using the built-in function.
