Instagram has a new feature for Reels to make this part of the social media app more attractive. There will now be the ability to add lyrics, which is another way to make things interactive. Check out the details for more information.
Instagram Reels will contain song lyrics
The announcement was made by Adam Mosseri via the IG Updates Instagram channel. As you create and edit a role, you get the option to add lyrics to a number you have chosen. You can select the music icon and add the song of your choice.
You can simply swipe left to bring up the lyrics. This will help you make your roles more user-friendly. People can learn the lyrics to a popular song, which makes the experience all the more fun. And for those who have gone through the trouble of manually adding lyrics to their reels, this will be a sigh of relief.
This is in addition to adding text on Reels, which makes it very useful, especially when viewing the Reels on mute. For the uninitiated, this ability is already available on Instagram Stories. As you add music to a story, you can choose to add lyrics. You can also choose different music player styles in case no lyrics are needed.
The feature is rolling out now and should soon reach all people using Android and iOS.
