Nothing OS 2.5 open beta rolling out!
The Android 14-based Nothing OS 2.5 open beta is now available for the phone (2). There’s the new Glyph animation for NFC (if in use) and a progress integration for Google Calendar. A timer allows you to track upcoming saved events. The Glyph Timer now comes with time presets and can be accessed directly from the lock screen. The pop-up window can also be accessed by tapping instead of holding.
There are a few more improvements in the Nothing OS 2.5 open beta. All apps now support Predictive Back and the Three-finger gestures have been improved. You also get more options for the double-click power button gesture.
As mentioned in Nothing’s community update videoNothing OS 2.5 gets new widgets like the new ones pedometer widget to set and track step goals, along with a media and screen time widget. There will be a Nothing Widgets app in the Google Play Store to keep up to date with this. Nothing OS 2.5 also introduces a new customization menu, a new editing interface, and more. You also get a new wallpaper picker, new color themes and lock screen changes, and more. This will be combined with the Android 14 features.
