Connections Reply by November 14
Have you finally given up and are you ready for the answer? The answers to today’s Connections puzzle are:
- A LITTLE VOCAL FANFARE – See, Presto, Tada, Voila
- BASIC EMOTIONS – Anger, fear, happiness, surprise
- TO ACQUIRE – Acquire, land, secure, win
- _ _ _ ANT – Adam, Carpenter, Fire, Red

Anyone who’s seen enough real or fake magic shows knows that the Presto Changeo works exceptionally well when combined with Voila. As such, it took less than a minute to achieve the green category. Basic emotions on their own were again relatively easy to understand without additional hints or Googling.
I then had a little trouble making the connection between safe and winning. However, when I added country, the blue category made sense, and I got that answer. With only four words left in the puzzle, I combined them to get the purple category and solved NYT Connections by November 14th.
