One minute I’m having the time of my life, and the next I’m left completely confused by the words in front of me. In fact, looking at these answers, you might agree what a strange rollercoaster NYT Connections is today. I started the game gloriously by solving the yellow and green categories one after the other. I mean, anyone would have done that, considering how basic they are. However, my entire ego became empty when I realized that this was the only thing I could achieve.

I moved on to the Blue and Purple categories, but was immediately stumped. As someone who has no experience with baseball, all of these names made no sense to me. The fact that the Purple category was related to celebrity names confused me even more. Feeling hopeless, I turned to my colleagues for support. Unfortunately, even that was disappointing today. When we exhausted all our chances, we lost and got the answer from Connections before November 17th.
