It’s been a while since we received an official update from Rockstar Games about the developments of a new GTA game. Earlier today we got one GTA 6 leak that made fans around the world curious. Just hours later, Rockstar Games president Sam Houser tweeted a thread confirming that GTA 6’s official reveal will take place in December.
GTA 6 trailer coming next month
In an official X-thread (formerly Twitter), Houser mentions how Rockstar has been listening to fans since 1988 and delivering delightful and entertaining games. At the end of the thread he revealed that the official trailer for Grand Theft Auto (presumably GTA VI) will drop “early December,” meaning it could be around the first two weeks. That’s a Christmas present I’m hyped for.
In the same thread, Rockstar Games mentions that it has a new Grand Theft Auto game. So yes, our dreams for GTA6 will come to life very soon. Additionally, Rockstar will only unveil a trailer next month, presumably including the game’s official logo and name. We don’t expect in-depth gameplay details and a release date yet.
Grand Theft Auto or GTA is a revolutionary part of any gamer’s library. It is undoubtedly one of the pioneers of open world games. Now that GTA V has been around for almost 10 years, it’s about time we see the new game released fairly soon.
