Despite permanently banned in India and facing backlash in the US, TikTok . has trumped Facebook to become the world’s most downloaded app earlier this year. In addition, according to a recent report by means of New York Times, the short video platform is a “holy grail of marketing” for advertisers to grab the attention of the Gen-Z population. Plus, with hashtags like #TikTokMadeMeBuyIt racking up 7 million posts on the platform, advertisers are investing more in them than any other like Meta’s Instagram or Facebook.

Now, if you were wondering how TikTok was able to accumulate such massive amounts of internet traffic, it’s because of the diverse content shared by different communities around the world. This diversity of content has attracted users from every industry, community and age group.
