God of War: Chains of Olympus PSP PT-BR action-adventure hack-and-slash video game was developed by Ready at Dawn and Santa Monica Studio and published by Sony Computer Entertainment (SCE). On March 4, 2008, it was made available for purchase as a game on the PlayStation Portable (PSP).
The game is the fourth in the God of War series, but it comes chronologically after the second game in the series. In addition, it serves as a prequel to the first God of War game. The player takes control of Kratos, a Spartan warrior dedicated to protecting the gods of Olympia.

The combat system
The Blades of Chaos are Kratos’ main weapon. They consist of a pair of blades connected by chains wrapped around the figure’s wrists and forearms. During gameplay, the blades can be flung around in a variety of ways to perform attack moves. Kratos gains access to a variety of new combat options as the game progresses, including the Sun Shield and the Gauntlet of Zeus, both of which he acquires.
In this installment of the series, Kratos only learns three magical abilities, as opposed to four in the previous installments. These abilities, which include the Efreet, the Light of Dawn, and Charon’s Wrath, give him a variety of ways to attack and kill his enemies. Triton’s Lance is a relic he obtains that, like Poseidon’s trident in God of War, grants him the ability to breathe underwater. Challenging mode
Dubbed the Challenge of Hades (five tries), this game’s difficulty level challenges players to complete a number of different objectives in order to advance (e.g. burn 50 soldiers with the Efreet).
