If you’re playing the Bedrock Edition, you’ll have to manually try to move in any direction or use the sunrise/sunset to determine the correct move. Even in Minecraft, the sun rises from the east and sets in the west.

3. Next, once you know which direction you are looking in your Minecraft world, you need to move in the ideal direction. In my case, the buried treasure is present in the northeast direction. So I’ll go north first and then east when I’m close to the target. If you move in the right direction, your map should look like the screenshot below after some distance. 4. Then, after traveling in one direction and coming parallel to the X, it’s time to head there. Now you need to go in the next direction, ideally in the direction of the X. In my case it’s the easterly direction. Until now, if your player indicator has been close to the edge, you will see it move towards the main part of the map. Keep moving until you are on top of the X from any direction. The X should completely cover your player indicator.

Dig and loot the buried treasure chest
