Jio has introduced a new prepaid plan in India. The subscription costs Rs 909 and offers free access to two of the popular OTT platforms, ZEE5 and Sony Liv. It also comes with unlimited 5G data available to eligible users.
The prepaid plan offers access to 2 GB of high-speed data per day and has a validity of 84 days. This amounts to 168 GB of data. If all the data is used up, you can still get unlimited data at 64kbps speeds.
Moreover, you get unlimited calling and 100 SMS/day during the validity period. You can also use the JioCloud, JioTV and JioCinema apps. Please note the JioCinema access does not include JioCinema Premium subscription.
For those who don’t know, the JioCinema subscription comes at a price Rs 999 for 12 months and contains high quality video and audio content. It can be accessed on up to 4 devices (any device) at the same time.
Jio also has a prepaid plan, which offers access to both ZEE5 and Sony Liv. This costs Rs 3,662 and includes 2.5GB data/day, unlimited calling, 100 SMS per day and the same benefits as the Rs 909 plan.

Separately, Jio offers plans of Rs 805 and Rs 3,225 with free ZEE5 plan and Rs 806 and Rs 3,226 plans with free Sony Liv plan. All four plans give you 2GB data per day, unlimited calling and 100 SMS per day, along with access to the Jio app. While the Rs 805 and Rs 806 plans have a validity of 84 days, the Rs 3,225 and Rs 3,226 plans will last for 365 days.
