Samsung is no stranger to some fantastic collaborations. Following on from this, the company has once again collaborated with the Paris-based fashion company House Margiela. Together the companies created a new one Galaxy Z Flip 5 as a follow-up to last year’s phone.
This special edition Galaxy Z Flip 5 is built on the foundation of combining technology and fashion. Samsung says its new phone ‘artisanal fashion‘ and contains various accessories matching the theme ‘Maison Margiela’. There will be two covers: a leather Flap cover and a Flipsuit cover. There are also two different designs available to attach to the back of the Flip 5.
The rear glass has been redesigned, bringing out the smallest details of a Maison Margiela jacket. Innovative silver and metallic effects are used here, with a ‘signature technique‘ used by the Parisian fashion house. The overall design of the phone definitely captures the essence of the coveted Maison look.
The cover display of the phone also shows different themes that match the overall design. The details of the phone’s themes will be inspired by the Paris-based brand’s collection. Unpacking the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 Maison is truly an experience. The box opens nicely stacked and the design itself represents the kind of storage space used in studio shops (a French term meaning ‘artist’s studio“) to store yarns and fabric samples.
