Elon Musk’s xAI wing has introduced its conversational AI tool, Grok AI, adding to the list of existing models like OpenAI’s ChatGPTMicrosoft’s new Bingand Google’s Bard. The AI chatbot not only gives you information on various topics but would also answer your ‘spicy’ questions, which may be limited on other platforms. View the details.
X Grok AI now official
The Grok AI tool is based on xAIs Grok-1 large language model (LLM), which was introduced about 4 months ago. Grok is described as an AI model that can answer your questions “with a bit of humor and a rebellious streak.” So we can expect some crazy answers.
That will be the case real-time information about the world taken from X (something the competition is missing!) to give you more information and will even suggest questions to ask if you end up scratching your head! Musk also provided an example of this and you can check it out below.
It is currently in early beta and will be available for a limited number of users in the US to try. Once Grok AI leaves beta, it will be available to everyone X Premium+ users. Musk has cleverly put his AI tool behind a paywall and if you become very interested in using it, the only option is to subscribe. It is also revealed that Grok AI will be a built-in feature on X as well a standalone app. It remains to be seen when the app will be available and whether or not it will be intended for both Android and iOS!
