We’d love to go into more detail in this section, but these tips are the best we can do. However, they are closely related to the actual categories, so think long and hard before scrolling down.

Spoiler warning #1: Although this section provided hints for the categories, they will be named in the next section. It will spoil the four categories for today’s Connections puzzle, so proceed with caution.

NYT Connections Tips and Answers for November 3, 2023

I had a good start around this time. As someone who chronically says “there, there,” I recognized the green words quite easily. The same case occurred with the yellow category, which I was able to guess within a few minutes. My problems started with the blue one, though, because I’m not exactly the type of person to use abbreviations or slang on Snapchat.

But after consulting with some Gen Z friends at work, I managed to get the answers to the blue category. The purple category, on the other hand, was annoyingly ambiguous and required me to think royally (pun very much intended) to understand it. And so I had my connections respond before November 3.
