Villain in The Batman 2: what are the possibilities?
There are a lot of leaks and rumors going around about the villain The Batman2. Several people speculated that we might get to see Barry Koeghan as Joker, but other than that, there are some new interesting names from the long list of Batman villains have recently appeared online.
According to some claims, we might finally see it Hush as the main villain in The Batman 2. For those of you who don’t know him, Hush is the alter ego of Thomas Elliot, who was a childhood friend of Bruce Wayne. Eventually, Elliot develops hatred and jealousy towards Bruce due to the fortune he inherited after his parents’ death. A skilled surgeon, Elliot wraps his face in bandages to hide his identity as he tries to sabotage and kill Bruce Wayne.
Similarly, another claim has surfaced regarding Clayface’s appearance as one of the villains in the sequel. Clayface has been one of the most infamous Batman villains throughout the comic series. However, if this happens, The Batman 2 will be the first-ever live-action adaptation of Clayface.
The Batman 2 plot (speculated)
There has been a lot of speculation about The Batman 2’s plot since the first film had a rather open ending. The first film ended with Batman’s monologue stating that crime in Gotham will reach an all-time high since Carmine Falcone is dead.
We know there’s a spin-off series called it The penguin is in the works, indicating Cobblepot’s rise to the Gotham’s new crime boss. This series will be merged with The Batman Part 2 and could lead to Penguin becoming the main villain of the upcoming film.
In other possibilities, we could see Barry Keoghan reprise his role as The Joker, whose scenes were cut from The Batman. Near the end, we see Riddler interacting with an “unknown Arkham inmate,” later revealed to be the Joker.
The Joker riddles the Riddler by saying: “The less you have of this, the more you are worth.” to which Riddler replies, “A friend.” This could signal a possible alliance between the two, along with the rumors of Hush and Clayface teaming up against Batman.
As of now, both Warner Bros and Matt Reeves are remaining tight-lipped about the plot of the sequel, but we could see certain new characters added to the cast. The Batman2.
